Fantastic Spacious Upper Main House with open plan kitchen/dining room. Large sunken living room with fireplace and a balcony with garden views. 3 spacious bedrooms with amply closet space, 2 full bathrooms, a half bath and additional bathroom built with small toilets and sinks for the little ones in the family. Laundry area with washer and dryer. The Master bedroom has en-suite with Jacuzzi tub, large walk in closet and private patio.
Outside there is a private garden area with built in the wall bbq and outdoor furniture. Plus an additional upper ground area for entertaining and sun bathing. The home is family friends and wheel chair accessible. A five minute walk in the Estate will get you access to a private dock where you can enjoy swimming or fishing.
The bus stops are a five minute walk away and a few more steps there is a gas station with The Buzz fast food restaurant. A few more steps there is the Pizza House restaurant and grocery store The Market Place. The popular Shelly Bay beach is a five minute drive away. Also directly across the street from the main drive to the property you can enjoy a beautiful nature walk along the Railway Trail. There you can view the stunning blue waters and there are benches for sitting along the trail.
A short 7 minute drive away is the famous Chrystal Caves, Swizzle Inn Restaurant and Bailey's Bay Ice Cream Parlor. The City of Hamilton is a 15 minute drive and the historic town of St. George's is a 20 minute drive away. The island of Bermuda has plenty of activities to participate in, both on land and at sea. All are welcome!

“Glendon's House was wonderful! It is in a quiet neighborhood away from traffic. Our family had an awesome time! The bus stop was a short walk away along with a gas station with coffee and a deli, plus the local supermarket was also right down the street. Everything you need is available in the house. If you want to make your coffee at home, you will need Kurig Cups as that is the coffee maker. Glendon was around and available for anything we needed and was extremely helpful. Glendon is in a great location, very handy for the local supermarket and transport links to Hamilton and St George's. There is a great beach within easy walking distance. The rooms were large and spacious and suited our needs. The kitchen is well equipped with oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, dish washer, washing machine and dryer. The lounge was comfortable and had a great TV. The dining area has a great view and the grounds are well maintained. We we had a problem, communication was really good and it was sorted in no time at all.
This home is a GEM! Extremely clean, beautiful yard space and great views :) Glendon was incredibly welcoming, he made our trip so much more enjoyable. He even took us to get groceries after we landed very late at night, as he knew we were hungry, and offered to assist us in many other generous ways :) Such an incredible host. We would return in a heart beat!

“I typically don't put much thought into leaving reviews absent an extraordinarily positive or negative experience. Given that, I must say that my stay at Mr. Glendon's home was one of the best lodging experiences of my life thus far. My boyfriend and I both travel quite a bit so our travel expectations are pretty high. I am delighted to share that last week we had the opportunity to stay at Mr. Glendon's home with another couple that we are friends with, and the kindness and hospitality we felt there exceeded our highest expectations. From the time we arrived to the time we left, Mr. Glendon made us all feel right at home. His home is beautiful and came fully stocked with everything you might need for a week in paradise. When we got there, he was kind enough to change his schedule so that he could take us to a nearby grocery store to get food and various other items we wanted for our stay. When we returned, we discovered that the air condition in the master bedroom wan't working and Mr. Glendon had it fixed within the hour. He even chauffeured us around daily on the island to ensure that we had the greatest experience possible. As funny as it may sound, in the short week that we spent there, it felt as though Mr. Glendon became part of our family. For anyone looking for an amazing time in Bermuda, I strongly recommend Mr. Glendon's home. And even if you are the type to simply want to check in and be left to explore the island on your own, Mr. Glendon will set you up and send you on your way. He lives in the apartment downstairs from the residence and makes it a priority not to impose or infringe upon guest privacy. You wouldn't even know he was there unless you looked for him. Whether you're looking for a nice quiet stay for two or a family vacation with small children in tow, Mr. Glendon's home is a fantastic choice all around.”
this place is perfect for families! very spacious and all the bedrooms are at the back of the house so sleeping children are not being bothered.. good location, close to bus stop, Shelley bay and a grocery store. first time staying at an Airbnb and this location definitely did not disappoint.”
This place is a real gem. From our very responsive and kind owners on the premises, to the spacious, well maintained home - great kitchen! - set on a private lot with BBQ , lawn chairs and a huge umbrella for one's private use, we were very, very happy. We, being animal lovers, were also delighted by a friendly neighborhood goat's gentle presence in an adjacent yard. The immediate neighborhood is lovely with many opportunities for walks. A few minutes away is an entrance to a more recently opened portion of the Railway Trail with lovely new bridges over the famous Bermuda water, affording breathtaking vistas. Our grandson, 2yo, (and we) enjoyed the quick bus ride to Shelly Bay for their lovely shallow beach and great playground. The only thing that could have improved our stay would be to have packed book lights (or back-lit Kindle) for reading in bed, as there were no bedside lamps.
Very convenient location close to bus route and also wonderful for joggers as it is close to the railway trail. Close to the grocery store(5 ) min walking. Home had all amenities in the kitchen and was ver spacious. The host was very responsive. Number Door lock was sticking at times.

Nice and spacious, with good location near grocery store and Buzz (where you can get a good quick breakfast and lunch).
Great location, walking distance to grocery store, gas station and on the bus line. Very quiet neighborhood ans beautiful house. Comfortable beds. We did cook on the kitchen-it has everything you need. Good price and great location!
