Place is exactly as pictured! Looks brand new and stylish! Beaches are across the street. A grocery store and a small shopping complex with restaurants and a 99cent store for anything you forgot to pack are about a 10min walk away. Would definitely stay here again on another trip to Bermuda.”
A fantastic apartment close to some of the best beaches on the island.
The location of this apartment is amazing! My husband and I (I was 7.5 months pregnant during our trip) and our two year old daughter stayed here for a week and we could not have been happier! The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos, was clean and spacious, had everything that we needed, and was on a nice quiet road off the main road. The homeowners live right next door and were so lovely! And it was nice to know we had someone just a knock away in case of emergency. You’re literally a 2 minute walk to Warwick Long Bay, one of the most beautiful secluded beaches + water we’ve ever seen. Not overridden by tourists, so that was a major plus! The water is so calm and clear, our daughter had a blast playing in it and in the sand. To the right of Warwick Long Bay (when looking towards the water) is Jobson’s Cove where the water is even calmer and there are tons of huge tropical fish! Bring your snorkel gear! We saw more fish here than on our snorkeling catamaran snorkeling trip! There were lots of Man of War jellyfish on the shoreline the day we arrived because a big storm had just passed, but they were all cleared away by the next day and we never saw another one the rest of our trip. There is also a children’s playground about 5 mins down the road which was great for cloudy mornings. You’re also not even a 1 minute walk to the bus stop for the #7 bus. We only went into Hamilton a handful of times ($5 USD/BMD each way/adult) and it was very easy and took about 20 mins. Tracey handled all of our logistics with taxis from and to the airport. She was super responsive before and during our trip and very helpful with suggestions. Our taxi from the airport included a stop at the Modern Mart for groceries. I highly recommend this as we bought a week’s worth of groceries on day 1. The grocery store had everything you would find in NJ. Keep in mind that everything in Bermuda is priced like NYC, so if you go in expecting this, you won’t have any sticker shock at the store or in any restaurants. The apartment also has a binder with grocery, liquor, and food delivery options if you prefer that instead. All in all, this apartment and it’s location were perfect and we can’t wait to go back!
This apartment is just like the photos, we felt instantly at home. The location is phenomenal with great beaches just across the road. Horseshoe beach is a short walk along the shore. (Recommended). We are on our way home as I write this and I feel sad to have departed. The main road is a bus route and there is a convenient stop which makes getting around the island(s) easy. We rented a twizzy, and were able to walk to pick it up (a fairly long walk). One characteristic of the island is a general lack of sidewalks (pavements) which makes walking on the main road not very desirable. Airport transfers were by taxi, and the taxis were very comfortable, and the drivers friendly. I would recommend this rental.
