Great location! The airbnb had everything we needed and our host was very helpful to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.
Our stay at Johanette's was nice. Its a cute place- its located near a bus stop and about a 10/15 min walk to the beach. Only complaints was there is no full length mirror- more mirrors are needed and we could not get any of the TVs to work. Otherwise it was a nice stay- wifi was fast and it was spacious enough for our trip.
Excellent value. Lovely views. Walking distance to Horseshoe Bay Beach. Close to grocery and restaurant.
We loved our stay! For Horseshoe Bay Beach the location is ideal. Just be aware it’s a climb up at hill at the end of the day. It took us about 20 min to walk back from the beach which isn’t bad as my wife has had hip surgery and I have a torn tendon in my ankle, so others may be faster. The walk to the beach is easier ;) Johnette was kind enough to book a taxi cab that was waiting for us at the airport. Worked fantastic. We loved the Gulfstream restaurant which was walking distance. Everyone we encountered in the neighborhood was so friendly. We can’t wait to go back.
Rented the unit last minute. Actually nicer than shown in the photos. Up 1 flight of exterior stairs to living room, eat in kitchen and master bedroom with separate bath and washer/dryer (washer was broken). Then two lofts with narrow stairs.
Stayed at Fairmont Southampton 2 years ago and decided to Airbnb this trip. The Frolic Lane home wins by a landslide. Loved the location and the comfort of being able to cook/snack on our own. Having a washer/dryer was big with the family. It was a perfect half way point on the island as well as in Southampton itself with the market on one side and beaches on the other.
Place was great, exactly as described in a food location. Would definitely stay again!
